What would it cost to a take out my metal awnings?

I have metal awnings on house (bungalo). One porch wide awning, one over my side door and one over a window. They look like they are in good shape but they leak and i see some rust. I want to call someone to take them down and away. What would that cost?

If they don’t look that bad you can get some 35 year latex caulk in a color that’s close. Caulk around the tops where they may be leaking and then you can alway paint them. Most caulk now days after you put it on will except paint. A good out door rustolium brand would work and preperation shouldn’t be to hard. If your looking to get rid of them then I would take them down myself, there will be patch work involed where they were and you still have to maybe caulk this area anyway. You didn’t say if they where leaking inside from where they are attached or out side. If it’s outside then the caulking should fix this for you without taking them down.

labor to take down, and haul away..probably 200 dollars. then your house may also need attention, such as sealing and patching holes, replacing siding, then touch up paint.
